I hate exercising!!

It’s Wednesday and I’ve walked (around my living room) three times this week for 30 minutes. I know it’s not much but it’s the most purposeful physical activity I’ve done in about 2 years. I’ve also been tracking my steps w/ a pedometer for the Woman Challenge 2007. The Slimbuddy team was full but I will participate individually as way to be accountable for physical activity weekly. So far I’m averaging 11 to 12 thousand steps a day.

If I get in 2 more 30 min. walks this week I will have met my personal goal to “do something” at least 4 times this week. Exercising is by no means enjoyable to me so If you know of any good DVD’s or suggestions other than join a gym please share. My husband works evenings so it has to be something I can do with a 5 year old and a 6 month old in tow.

My goal for next week is going to be to get 2 of the 4 walks done outside.

At least you are doing something!  Take it one step, one day at a time.  Pick something you like.  I’m still wanting to try the Core Rhythms myself because I enjoy dancing.

    Take care and God bless!

I am proud of you Pam!!! You are doing great!! Having two kids all the time is hard work, and the fact that you are even trying to make an effort is GREAT!!! I agree with the other people’s suggestions. Next time I am at a store I will look for you, bt they have alot of great children work out videos, where it is mostly liek wiggling and stretching your hands over your head and stuff, that I think Christian woudl like. So you could do that with her, and just put weights on your arms or soemhtign, or do extra stuff, btu if you guys did it together, then it would just be more like playing and having fun with Christian than working out. Anythign you do is gonna be better than nothing!!

Plus we are gonna get in some good workign out, when I come there this weekend!!!
