Creeping Along

I know I’ve told myself I should be happy with just a pound a week since that would mean a minimum of 50 lbs in a year but… I feel like I am really working the diet and the exercise and the results are just slow. I feel great when it’s a 2 or 3 lb loss week and I want it to be so much more. I am committed to getting to the gym daily and it’s summer time. What am I going to do when school starts back up? I already feel like I’m cheating the girls if I do an extra 15 min. of cardio ( the 7 month old spends most of the time crying to be picked up which is not gonna happen when the Kids’ Club is full). Why couldn’t I I have done this before the kids? If only..If only.. Man change is hard. But I’m going to keep on plugging. Thanks for listening.

You are doing great! They say you keep it off better when you lose it slow. I have been at this for almost a year and I have lost 59lbs., I have 101 lbs. to go! I am hoping to meet my 2nd mini goal by next weigh in then I will have less than 100 lbs. to go and I am going to take 25 lb. mini goals to reach that. Like poetinme said Slow and Steady Wins the Race!
    Have a good one!

Come on you can do it. One day at a time. It isn’t easy but it will be so worth it in the end.

Remember any pound in the right direction is great!! Remember also that this isn’t a race, this is the rest of your life. So if it takes a while longer than you expected, thats OK. I finally realized that. I’ve been doing this for 4 years, during it I had a baby, broke 1 foot in 2005, then broke my other food in 2006!!! But I’m still here, I had lots of setbacks, but its a road I’m still on. You can do it!

A pound off is still great. Each pound makes a difference. And keep up the great job of working out. I know some times it is hard to make time in our busy lifes for ourselves. But you have to think you are getting healthy and teaching your children good eating now. Keep up the good work.

Pam you can do it!!!!!!!!!! I know you can, and plus when the girls look back at this later they are going to know that you did it for them too. To make sure you were always healthy and did your best to be around for them as long as possible. Plus it is building good habits in them. I mena yeah daddy beat us town and harped on our weight, but imagine how different it would have been if he was taking us to the gym and we got to see him doing it to instead of just telling us we were fat!!!!!!
