Nearing the end of summer

Summer is coming to a close for me and I am preparing to return to work next week.  I like my job BUT… summer is always too short. I have found a nice place for my 8 month old (1 burden lifted) and my 5 year old will be coming to Kindergarten at my school. This year will have some new challenges and I don’t want to turn to food to cope.  I need to get re-ennergized and focused on this new healthier lifestyle so I can maintain what I have been doing once I return to work. I am still going to the gym 5 days a week but I need to step up what I’m doing. I have also been letting my water slide and not making as much of a effort to increase my activity in my everyday life. I think it was easy to stay motivated when the lbs were coming off at a more steady pace but I am in this for the long haul. 8 more lbs and I’ll be 50 down so that’s my focus for the next couple of weeks. Toni and the other ladies that are going to Vegas- keep it up! I’m here on the sideline rooting for you and you guys are motivating me as I read about your plans.

Way to go Pamela. You are doing a great job. I know what you mean about summer. I feel like it just started and we are already starting back to school on Monday. Where did the time go??

Sometimes you hit a slump, no big deal you’re still in the game. You can do this. Just sit down and make a list of things that you should be doing and what you shouldn’t be doing. Think about how you can implement this list into your life. Just relax and have fun with this. You sound very dedicated to this, I am sure you will do this.

You’ve lost quite a bit already so you are on a good track. I noticed that during my weight loss I had down unmotivating times but I still did my routine to the best of my ability. So just keep doing all the right things and you can find even more sucess. Good luck!

You are doing great. Sometimes are body will slow down in weight loss but then it will pick up again. And it is great to set small goals. It does help. I try to look at 5 pounds at a time.
