Exactly what I was afraid of

Ok, I have stayed the same for 2 weeks w/ no loss. :(  I have been back to work for two weeks and of course the beginning of school is really hectic for me trying to get all computers on campus back up and running. My workout schedule has been disrupted but I was still able to get in 3 or 4 workouts each week.  Twice I did excercise videos at home because there was just no way I was going to make it to the gym. I stuck to my eating plan and brought my lunch to work everyday. That means I didn’t go out to lunch w/ friends on our staff development days. :(

This is only going to get worse once the year really starts since my oldest daughter will be there and I have to hold training sessions for teachers after school. I guess I need to recommit and try to restrict the diet a bit more because the excercise has lessened and is not likely to increase dramatically anytime soon.

I was enjoying this during the summer but honestly this is not fun anymore. It’s work and the weight loss was like my paycheck. Now I feel like I’ve been working and haven’t been paid for two weeks and that doesn’t feel so good.

Look at your weight graph…you are doing GREAT! I stayed the same for 4 weeks before and I hadn’t stopped exercising or eaten more. Sometimes our bodies just get a little stuck! Don’t let this get you down or stop you from trying. YOU CAN DO IT!

I understand how you feel. I want this “job” of losing weight to be over, especially when the real job is taking over everything and making it hard to fit in the workouts. Good job staying on your eating plan and getting in the workouts 3-4 times per week. Perhaps once the mad rush is over your routine will even out. Give yourself another week or two and then see where you are. Just hang in there until then. I’m sure you’ll see a pound or two loss, and then you can move things along more quickly when you get some time free.
